There's something strange about the face, isn't it? The feeling won't go away but I can't see the problem D:

It isn't a good idea to paint beautiful characters if you are not capable of painting good faces. Well, I know, I should practice more instead of moaning about that ^^°

At least, this is just my idea how Varda could look like. I don't know if Tolkien ever writes which haircolour she has, I could only see that people around DA uses black or white. It seems that there's no discription.
First I wanted to paint white hair too, but now it's more ivory-coloured. The contrast would have been to hard if I had painted the hair brighter. I like it this way

Edit: changed some things now in the face. Hope it's better.

Beautiful. Really beautiful. I wish there was more Tolkien fanart out there. Maybe I should try my hand at it sometime!

I really like this though. Especially the cape, it's very whimsical.
